We got this on a $96. particular a couple of weeks back for my wife. She is on the computer several hours per day working and has stated it's a lot less difficult on the eyes than her old 17" LCD. Rich creamy colors. Merely plug and use. Set up for each VGA and DVI input needless to say. And of course power efficent. This might be a fundamental monitor but what does a monitor do for a regular user?...it shows what the laptop or computer sends! I have not touched a button on a monitor in years because I've in no way needed to. This unit is affordable sufficient that if some thing extraordinary happens like a power surge that fries it, we're not out a good deal. I type of wish we had purchased two and replaced my older 21" LCD unit. Has a stable stand, as we placed it on a 2"x8" merely so she could appear straight at it without having bending her neck to avoid neck strain. Ask yourself, why buy old technologies like a LCD monitor if you can get newer a lot more energy efficent LED technologies in the very same cost? So far so good. This monitor is large and stunning. I definitely really like it. I'm not technical sufficient to talk about details of pixels and refresh speeds, etc. All I know is that both movies and text look excellent. The on-screen controls are simple to navigate and understand. My only complaint is using the documentation and included software program. They are clunky, poorly translated, and virtually useless. They seem like they are a throwback towards the late 80's or early '90s. Thankfully, the monitor is much better developed as well as a pleasure to utilize. (More Detail...)

computers given that the early 90s, the best of the line Dells are the best performing and most trustworthy PCs on the market, which are also competitively priced. This 19" Ultrasharp Flat-Panel monitor with its thin frame about it's a correct 19" inch. It truly is crisp with no glare even in daylight -- I'm actually positively surprised. As I'm spending 10-12 hours per day in front of the screen, staring at it, this Flat Panel works incredibly nicely and simple on my eyes -- no far more tears, etc. Its also light weight and it appears quite sturdy with all kinds of adjustment functions (incl. tilting in practically all directions) to place it as comfy as doable right where you need it. The colors are also actually excellent. Like with everything else we've researched a whole lot of monitors just before we bought this Dell 1905fp UltraSharp and it seems to be the most effective unit for the funds. (Review More...)

I purchased the AOC 2236VW to replace a 17" CRT. This is my first "wide screen" monitor. The 2236VW comes packed in a compact box. Included is actually a two-piece tilt/swivel stand that assembles with out tools, a VGA cable, a USB A-B cable, CD-ROM, and fold-out instruction sheet. Although the monitor supports DVI, no DVI cable is included. The fold-out sheet is all pictorial, and fairly clear. Assembling the stand and snapping it into the monitor's normal mounting bracket was fast and painless. Given its size, the monitor is surprisingly lightweight, and balances well on the stand. The monitor can tilt and swivel smoothly, and stays where placed. However, there is certainly no vertical height adjustment inside the stand. (Read More...)

I go via a great deal of pc monitors at function, upgrading very frequently. I have to say the color and picture quality is super crisp on this baby. I response time is excellent, and brightness control is smooth. Even so!!! I can only give this item a two star as a result of the stinkin stand that it sits on. I mean let me tell you something. This has to have among the worst stands on pc monitor I have ever observed. Unstable, in the event you push your desk even a bit it wobbles. As a result of the heaviness of the screen it sort of leans a bit forward at all times. Should you sit this factor on a typical personal computer desk, you might want to try lying on the floor to get a superb view, otherwise stick this thing on a camera tripod subsequent to your desk, or wall mount this thing.
